For apps that stalled or need AI
Get the app you already paid for into the stores.
A half-finished React Native app, an agency that went quiet, or a working app that needs an AI feature. The first 3 days are free: I read what's there, fix what blocks shipping, and get a build into your hands. Launching it is $200.
- AI writes the code, a senior engineer owns it
- Venus: about 10,000 users on iOS and Android
- 100% Job Success on Upwork (as of Oct 4, 2026)

Sound familiar?
What usually gets in the way.
Nobody can tell you what state it's in
The free days start with reading the code and the build pipeline. You get a written list of what to keep, what to fix first, and how long the rest takes.
Builds fail and reviews get rejected
Signing, Expo and EAS builds, store review feedback — I've shipped release after release on a live app and know where these break.
You want AI in it without a rewrite
One AI feature, added end to end on your existing stack: the model call, the backend endpoint, the screens, and a build to test.
Good uses of the free 3 days
- An Expo app that stopped building after an SDK upgrade
- An app rejected in App Store review
- Adding photo analysis or a chat assistant to an existing app
- Moving model calls off the device and behind your own API
How it works
From an idea to a live app.
The first three steps are free. You only pay once you've held the app in your hand.

3 months free
Bug fixes and OS updates are on me for three months after launch. After that, book a week when you need one.
How the code gets written
AI writes the code. I own the result.
Claude Code and Codex do most of the typing. Everything that decides whether your app works — architecture, review, testing, release — stays with one senior engineer.
AI does
The bulk of the code
- Screens, endpoints and data models from a written spec
- Tests and fixtures alongside the code
- Refactors and upgrades that used to take days
I do
Every decision that matters
- Architecture, data model and model-call design
- Read every diff before it reaches your repo
- Test on real iPhones and Android phones, then ship
You get
Speed without the gamble
- Three days of real development, free
- $200 to launch, $800 a week if there's more
- Visible progress every day, on your project page

Case study · Venus
Venus — an AI skincare coach on iOS and Android
Venus is a K-beauty program in an app: scan your face, get a plan from AI and Seoul skincare experts, follow a routine, and track how your skin changes. I joined at the MVP stage and owned its engineering for the next 18 months as it grew into a subscription product.

Who you'd work with
A real person, with a track record you can check.

Kevin Wang (Wang Kui)
Wuhan, China · UTC+8
Building software since 2016
Invoices through a registered company
One senior engineer, personally accountable. Before this I shipped mobile apps, web products and AI features for clients on Upwork (listed there as Kui W.).
Working together
What a week with me looks like.
One engineer, personally accountable
You work directly with the person who writes the code. No account managers, no handing your project to someone you haven't met.
A project page you can check any time
Weeks, payments and a daily log in one place. I'm in Wuhan, China (UTC+8): each day starts with a written plan and ends with a summary of what shipped, what's next and what's blocked — so if you're in the US or Europe, you wake up to progress.
AI writes the code, I own it
Claude Code and Codex write most of the code. I set the architecture, review every change, test on real devices and ship — and I'm accountable for all of it.
You own everything you pay for
You can read the code and install every build from day one. The whole repository is transferred to you with your first payment, and I sign an NDA before you share details.
Who this is for
Three kinds of teams, one kind of product.
- Founders
You have an AI app idea, not a dev team.
You know the problem and the people who have it. I turn that into a working app, explain every trade-off in plain English, and you own all of the code.
For founders → - Web AI products
Your AI product works on the web. Your users want it on their phone.
I build native iOS and Android apps on top of the backend and model calls you already have — with sign-in, subscriptions, push and store release handled.
For web products → - You are here
Your app stalled halfway, or needs AI inside it.
A half-finished build, an agency that went quiet, or a working app that needs an AI feature. I read what's there, fix what blocks shipping, and get it into the stores.

FAQ
Questions founders ask first.
What can I get in the free 3 days?
Anything you want built — the app, the backend, the AI features. I start with what matters most to you. If the app is simple, it may be finished in those 3 days; then Launch is a flat $200. If not, you'll have working builds on your phone and a clear picture of what's left.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do, once you've paid. During the free days the code lives in my private repository — you can read all of it and install every build. With your first payment (Launch, or the first week) the whole repository is transferred to your GitHub, and all code and IP are yours. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you share anything. If you don't continue, nothing is owed either way.
What does the $200 Launch include?
Deploying the backend to production on your cloud account, submitting the app to the App Store and Google Play, handling review feedback until both apps are approved, and transferring the code. It doesn't cover rejections caused by the app's concept breaking store policy, and the developer accounts, hosting and OpenAI usage are paid by you, in your name.
How does weekly billing work?
$800 per week. You pay for a week before it starts, I build with a plan each morning and a summary each evening, and you get an installable build and demo at the end of the week. Stop after any week. If you'd rather know the total up front, I'll quote a fixed price for the rest after the free 3 days.
What's in the 3 months of free maintenance?
Fixing bugs in the code I wrote, keeping the app building as iOS, Android and libraries update, and helping with store review after updates. New features are billed by the week.
Is the code written by AI?
Mostly, yes — that's how real progress fits into three free days and why the prices are this low. Claude Code and Codex write most of the code. I design the architecture, break the work into small reviewable changes, read every diff, and test on real devices. If something breaks, it's on me, not the tool.
How do we work across time zones?
I'm in UTC+8. You get a written plan when my day starts and a summary when it ends, on your project page: what shipped, what's next, and anything I need from you. We talk on a call whenever a decision needs one.
How do I pay?
In USD, invoiced through Payoneer. Nothing is due for the free 3 days.
Are you a real person? Where are you based?
Yes. My name is Kevin Wang (Wang Kui), I'm based in Wuhan, China, and I invoice through my registered company. My Upwork profile is under Kui W. — the screenshots on this site link back to it.
What if I already have code?
Send it with your idea. The free 3 days can go into reading it, fixing what blocks shipping, or adding the AI feature you need — and I'll tell you honestly what I'd keep.
